Hello!
Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity
This is Nitta, a volunteer staff member for MadreBonita's public relations team 🍁
At the Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity, 13 people from Japan and 30 people from overseas will run together as MadreBonita's Charity Runners 🏃♀️
In preparation for the event in March, we have received messages from our Charity Runners expressing their thoughts and feelings about participating in the Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity as MadreBonita's Charity Runners 💌
Starting now, we will introduce each of the messages we have received.
The next person we would like to introduce is Kylie, who will be participating from America.
As an obstetrician, Kylie has cared for countless women as they bring their babies into the world, witnessing their strength, vulnerability, and incredible transformation.
What drives Kylie's passion for this race?
Read on to discover her heartfelt message. 💐

As an obstetrician, I see every day that the care of a mother does not end when her baby is born. The postpartum period is one of the most important—and often most overlooked—chapters in a woman’s healthcare journey.
I have cared for countless women as they bring their babies into the world, witnessing their strength, vulnerability, and incredible transformation. I have also seen the challenges that can arise after delivery when mothers are recovering physically, adjusting emotionally, and learning to care for a newborn while their own needs are often placed aside.
Supporting postpartum care means supporting the health of an entire family. Every mother deserves access to compassionate care, resources, and reassurance during this life-changing transition.
It would be my privilege to run the Tokyo Marathon Charity on behalf of MadreBonita to help raise awareness and support for programs that ensure mothers are not forgotten after childbirth. The race would be dedicated to the women I have cared for, the mothers who need additional support, and the belief that a healthy beginning for a child starts with a healthy, supported mother.

Through her daily work as an obstetrician, Kylie has gained a profound understanding of the challenges facing women and mothers in our society. Her heartfelt yet powerful message deeply resonated with me.
I sincerely hope that this race will help bring greater awareness to Kylie's belief that a healthy start in life for every child begins with a mother who is healthy and receives the support she needs.
Next time, we will continue to introduce messages from runners that we have received at MadreBonita 💌
Messages from runners are also published on MadreBonita's official Instagram and Facebook.
Please check them out as well ☺️
