今日は東京レガシーハーフマラソン2026参加予定のランナー、
成田景子さんから届いたメッセージをご紹介させて下さい。

私は２人の子育てを通して「子供が自由に遊べる空間の大切さ」を
とても感じました。

10年以上前になりますが初めての子育てで長女がまだ小さい時に
東京おもちゃ美術館を訪れ、「なんて素敵なぬくもりのある場所なんだろう！」と
一瞬でその空間がとても大好きになりました。

手足を使ったり、五感で感じたり、
「おもちゃ」は子供の発育の中でなくてはらない存在です。

「東京おもちゃ美術館」のこれからの発展とママと子どもたちのために、
今回、チャリティランで「東京おもちゃ美術館」とつながれたことを
とてもうれしく思います。

子育てを通して「子どもが自由に遊べる空間」の大切さを感じ、
10年以上前の東京おもちゃ美術館との出会いを今も大切に

東京おもちゃ美術館とつながっていただけたこと、
そして子どもたちの「遊びの場」と未来を応援してくださることに、

Today, we would like to share a message from Keiko Narita,
one of the runners participating in the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2026.

Through raising my two children, I have come to deeply appreciate
the importance of having spaces where children can play freely.
More than ten years ago, when my eldest daughter was still very young
and I was experiencing motherhood for the first time,
we visited the Tokyo Toy Museum.
I remember thinking, “What a wonderful and warm place!”
I instantly fell in love with the atmosphere.
Toys are an essential part of children’s development,
allowing them to use their hands and feet, engage all five senses,
and learn through play.
I am truly happy to have had the opportunity to connect with
the Tokyo Toy Museum through this charity run,
and I hope to support the Tokyo Toy Museum’s
continued growth and its efforts to create wonderful opportunities
and spaces for mothers and children.
