Iam applying for a charity place with KnK for the Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity because I want my marathon journey to contribute to something far greater than my own personal goal. KnK’s mission to protect, support, and empower vulnerable children resonates deeply with me.
Running Tokyo has been a long standing ambition of mine, and after a difficult period in my life, I am now rebuilding my fitness with a renewed sense of purpose. Supporting KnK gives that journey meaning. I am committed to raising the full donation amount and representing KnK with pride, gratitude, and determination throughout my training and on race day.

A place with KnK would allow me to turn my marathon effort into something that genuinely improves the lives of children who deserve safety, opportunity, and hope. It would be an honour to run for your organisation in Tokyo 2027.

私は、自身のマラソンへの取り組みを、単なる個人的な目標にとどまらず、それよりもはるかに大きな何かに役立てたいという思いから、KnKのチャリティ枠を通じて東京マラソン2027チャリティへの参加を申請しています。KnKが掲げる、脆弱な立場にある子どもたちを保護し、支援し、自立を後押しするという使命に、私は深く共感しています。
東京マラソンを走ることは、長年の私の夢でした。人生で困難な時期を乗り越え、今は新たな目的意識を持って体力を取り戻しつつあります。KnKを支援することは、その旅路に意味を与えてくれます。私は寄付目標額を全額達成し、トレーニング期間中もレース当日も、誇りと感謝、そして決意を持ってKnKを代表することを誓います。

KnKのチャリティ枠を獲得できれば、私のマラソンへの取り組みを、安全、機会、そして希望に値する子どもたちの生活を真に改善するものへと変えることができます。貴団体を代表して走れることを光栄に思います。

学生時陸上に打ち込み、私は生涯の親友と生涯の趣味のマラソンに出会いました。走ることで人生が豊かになったからこそ、未来を担う子どもたちがそれぞれの可能性を見つけられるよう活動を応援したいと思い寄付を決意しました。感謝を胸に東京を走り抜けます。

As a special education teacher in Panama City, Panama, I have the privilege of working with children every day. Through my experience, I have learned that education is much more than learning to read, write, or solve math problems. For many children, school becomes a safe place where they are encouraged, supported, and given the opportunity to believe in themselves. It is a place where they build confidence, develop friendships, and discover who they are as individuals.

In my own country, I have seen how access to education can completely change a child's future. Some students come from difficult circumstances, yet when they are given a caring environment and the opportunity to learn, they begin to thrive. A teacher's encouragement, a safe classroom, and the chance to dream can have a lasting impact that extends far beyond the school walls.

This is why KnK's mission resonates so deeply with me. Knowing that the organization supports children in Cambodia, the Philippines, and Bangladesh by providing educational opportunities and safe environments is incredibly meaningful. Every child deserves the chance to grow up feeling safe, valued, and hopeful about their future, regardless of where they were born. I hope to contribute, even in a small way, to creating opportunities for children to learn, grow, and build brighter futures.

パナマのパナマシティで特別支援教育の教師として、私は毎日子どもたちと接する機会に恵まれています。これまでの経験を通じて、教育とは単に読み書きや算数の問題を解くことを学ぶだけにとどまらないと学びました。多くの子どもたちにとって、学校は励まされ、支えられ、自分自身を信じられるようになる機会が与えられる、安心できる場所となります。そこは、子どもたちが自信を築き、友情を育み、自分という人間を見つけ出す場所なのです。

私の国では、教育へのアクセスが子どもの未来をいかに根本から変えるかを目の当たりにしてきました。困難な境遇にある生徒もいますが、思いやりのある環境と学ぶ機会が与えられると、彼らは生き生きと成長し始めます。教師の励まし、安全な教室、そして夢を描く機会は、学校の壁をはるかに超えて、永続的な影響をもたらすのです。

だからこそ、KnKの使命に私は深く共感するのです。この団体がカンボジア、フィリピン、バングラデシュの子どもたちを支援し、教育の機会と安全な環境を提供しているという事実は、私にとって計り知れないほど意義深いものです。生まれた場所に関わらず、すべての子どもには、安全を感じ、大切にされ、未来に希望を持って成長できる機会が与えられるべきです。子どもたちが学び、成長し、より明るい未来を築くための機会を創出することに、たとえささやかな形であっても、貢献できればと願っています。

～国境を越えてすべての子どもに教育と友情を～
国境なき子どもたち（KnK）は、1997年に日本で設立された国際協力NGOです。これまで15ヵ国（地域）において23万人以上の子どもたちに教育機会を提供し、自立を支援してきました。2026年現在は、6の国と地域で教育支援を継続しています。
「共に成長するために」という理念を継承しつつ、世界の子どもたちに教育と友情を届けられるよう、さらに力を尽くして参ります。
