東京マラソン2026チャリティ　チャリティランナーとして出走されたみなさん、本当におつかれさまでした！

To all participants who ran as charity runners in the Tokyo Marathon 2026 Charity, you truly deserve a rest!

東京おもちゃ美術館は、東京マラソン2026チャリティの寄付先団体です。
今回も90名近くのチャリティランナーが東京おもちゃ美術館のビブスをつけて出走してくださいました。
Tokyo Toy Museum is an official charity of the Tokyo Marathon 2026 Charity. Once again, nearly 90 charity runners took part wearing our bibs.

東京マラソンEXPO 2026 では、多くのチャリティランナーの方々が当ブースに立ち寄って下さり、コミュニケーションを取ることができました。そのうち数名の方をピックアップしてご紹介させていただきたいと思います。

At the TOKYO MARATHON EXPO 2026, many charity runners visited our booth, allowing us to engage with them. We should like to pick out and introduce several of these individuals.

今回ご紹介するのはアイルランド出身のAngela Marie Kennedyさん。Angelaさんは私たちが取り組む【おもちゃと遊びの活動】に深く共感して下さっています。ご本人からのメッセージをご紹介させて頂きます。

おもちゃ美術館の皆様へ

東京おもちゃ美術館で皆様にお会いし、素晴らしいおもちゃの数々を見ることができて、本当に楽しい時間を過ごしました。皆様と交流できたことは、心から喜びに満ちた体験でした。この経験は、決して忘れることのない大切な思い出です。

東京マラソン2026チャリティに参加できたこの一生に一度の機会に、心から感謝しております。42キロの全行程、皆様のTシャツを着て笑顔で走り切りました！誇りに満ちた私の姿を写真でお送りします。

Dear Everyone at the Toy Museum,

I had a wonderful time meeting everyone and seeing all the amazing toys at the museum. It was truly a joy to interact with you all. The experience is a treasured memory that I will never forget.

I am so grateful that I had this once-in-a-lifetime chance to run the Tokyo Marathon 2026 Charity. I wore your T-shirt with a big smile on my face for all 42 kilometers! Here is a photo of me buzzing with pride.

Angelaさんは遊びについて、「枠にとらわれない自由な発想を可能にし、自立心を高める強力なツール」として大切なものと考えています。この度、来日中に東京おもちゃ美術館も訪れて下さり、楽しいひと時を過ごしてくださいました。

Angela considers play to be a vital element, viewing it as ‘a powerful tool that enables free thinking beyond boundaries and fosters independence.’ During her recent visit to Japan, she also visited the Tokyo Toy Museum, where she enjoyed a delightful time.
