Charity Runner applications for the Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity closed at 5:00 p.m. JST on

Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Donation-only registration will continue to be accepted until 5:00 p.m. JST on Monday, August 31,

2026.

 

We received an overwhelming response, with applications from people in over 100 countries and

regions around the world.

We are truly grateful for the growing support for charity through the Tokyo Marathon.

Thank you for your warm support and participation.

 

■Charity Runner Selection Process

Charity Runners will be selected based on the criteria set by each Charity Program.

Notification of selection results will be sent to the email address registered at the time of application between Tuesday, July 14 and Friday, July 17.

 

■Regarding Future Entries

Those who are not selected as Charity Runners but wish to participate in the Tokyo Marathon

2027 may apply through the following entry categories.

 

1. ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member Entry

   ・Entry Opens: Friday, July 31 at 11:00 a.m. JST

   ・Entry Deadline: Thursday, August 13 at 5:00 p.m. JST

   *Please apply through the ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member Entry.

 

2. General Entry

   ・Entry Opens: Friday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. JST

   ・Entry Deadline: Friday, August 28 at 5:00 p.m. JST

   *Please apply through the General Entry.
