「どの寄付先団体を選ぼうか」
「自分の走りが、誰のために役立つのか知りたい」
そんな想いを持つ皆さまへ、私たちの活動と
皆さまからのご寄付をどのように活用させていただくかを紹介させていただきます。

Applications for the Tokyo Marathon 2027 Charity Program will finally open in June.
Many runners may be wondering:
“Which charity should I choose?”
“I want to know who my run will help.”
For those of you feeling this way, we would like to introduce our work and how your donations will be used to support children.

■ 日本の子どもの貧困問題に向き合う私たちの活動

私たちは、日本の子どもの貧困問題に取り組む認定NPO法人です。
経済的に困難を抱える家庭の子どもたちが、安心して学び、成長し、
未来を描けるように、次のような活動を行っています。

・無料の学習支援（定期的な学習会、受験サポート）
・居場所支援（学校でも家でもない、第３の居場所）
・体験活動・キャリア教育（自然体験、文化体験、オフィスツアーなど）
・ファミリーサポート＆ヤングサポート（物資、情報、体験活動、就労支援）
・アドボカシー・ロビイング（子どもの貧困・教育格差を訴える）
・中間支援事業（ノウハウを全国に伝える研修事業など）

子どもたちの「今日」を支えるだけでなく、
「未来」を切り開く力を育むことを大切に多方面から包括的な支援を行っています。

■ Our Work: Addressing Child Poverty in Japan

We are a certified nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling child poverty in Japan.
We support children from economically disadvantaged families so they can learn, grow, and envision a brighter future. Our activities include:

- Free learning support (regular study sessions, exam preparation)
- Safe community spaces (a “third place” outside home and school)
- Experiential learning & career education (nature programs, cultural activities, office visits)
- Family & youth support (material aid, information support, experiential programs, employment support for parents)
- Advocacy & lobbying (raising awareness of child poverty and educational inequality)
- Capacity-building programs (training and sharing expertise nationwide)

Our goal is not only to support children’s “today,” but also to nurture the power they need to shape their “tomorrow” through comprehensive, multi-layered support.

■ なぜ今、子ども支援が必要なのか

日本では、9人に1人の子どもが相対的貧困と言われています。
経済的な困難は、学力格差、体験格差、孤立感など、子どもたちの成長に大きな影響を与えます。

しかし、環境が変われば、子どもたちは驚くほど伸びていきます。
「学べる場所がある」
「安心して話ができる大人がいる」
「新しい体験ができる」
その積み重ねが、未来を変える力になります。

チャリティランナーとしての寄付は、まさにその“環境づくり”を支える力になります。

■ Why Child Support Is Needed Now

In Japan, one in nine children is said to be living in relative poverty.
Economic hardship affects children in many ways—academic disparities, limited experiences, and feelings of isolation.

But when their environment changes, children can grow remarkably.
“A place where they can learn”
“Adults they can talk to without fear”
“Opportunities for new experiences”
These small steps accumulate and become the power to change their future.
